Adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety with depressed mood instead of depression.. Supplemental Claim Hello all, I was denied depression due to lack of in service treatment. I’ve been seeking MH help since getting out and refiled a supplemental claim with depression secondary to chronic back pain.

Sometimes, the VA treats Adjustment Disorder as a “symptom” connected to another ratable mental health condition, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Major Depressive Disorder, or Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

I just got 50 pct for AD (with insomnia) for my service 30 years ago. They actually backdated it one year to when my migraines (30pct) claim closed. I just turned 53. Cannot imagine they are claiming it is anything other than chronic, nor that they will call me back in for a re-exam.

A scoping review of social media in child, adolescents and young adults: research findings in depression, anxiety and other clinical challenges | BJPsych Open | Cambridge Core I was rated PTSD with major depressive disorder for 70%. I did claim PTSD with anxiety but was rated with the depressive disorder. Currently waiting on 3 other claims to get processed. I’m not sure if anxiety is included with the mental health part of it but I think mental health rating can only go up to 70% max. I could be mistaken tho.
